Wengen lies high up on a sunny, sheltered terrace at the foot of the Jungfrau, with spectacular views. Everyone arrives in this charming, friendly village by mountain train as it is virtually traffic-free.

The Jungfrau area ski pass also covers Mürren and Grindelwald, and skiers of all grades will delight in the expanse of pistes and beautiful scenery.

The village nursery slopes are ideal for youngsters and beginners, and there’s a great selection of satisfying reds in the Kleine Scheidegg and Männlichen area.

Confident skiers should head for the Eigergletscher, not to mention the Lauberhorn race run!
