Solden Resort Informatino |
 |
Sölden was, until recently, relatively unknown to British skiers. This high altitude resort boasts two glaciers and an extensive network of slopes, coupled with excellent snow reliability. We believe it deserves a serious look, especially by keen intermediates.
Sölden's ski area centres around three main peaks, each over 3,000m in height, giving you some fantastic snow conditions.
Take on the challenge of the 'Big 3 Rally' - a 50km signed tour of the pistes that will take you to all three peaks. The town stretches for more than 2km along the valley floor, its traditional Tirolean-style buildings, countless restaurants, bars and shops lining either side of the main road. Sölden is a vibrant resort with a great atmosphere.
Glacier skiing is literally the tip of the iceberg in this resort.
