Passo Tonale Resort Information

One of Italy's highest resorts, Passo Tonale is located on the pass linking the regions of Trentino and Lombardy.

With a compact lift system, guaranteed snow, runs mainly above the tree line and long hours of sunshine, Tonale fulfils the expectations of most skiers and offers excellent value for money.

Skiing is possible on both sides of the valley on mainly north and south-facing pistes above the tree line.

A combination of sunny south facing slopes that are excellent for beginners and snowsure north faces on the glacier mean good snow conditions are always an easy find. As well as beginners, the resort increasingly attracts good intermediates.

A great choice for people who want to stay close to the slopes with a modern speedy lift system.

A two-stage cable car now links Passo Tonale and Ponte di Legno opening up a continuous 11km descent from Presena to Ponte di Legno.

Although non skiing activities are limited in Tonale, Ponte di Legno has a range of shops and a sports centre with swimming pool, reachable by a regular ski bus.

As the lifts close, head to Bar Heaven at Happy Hour (2 drinks for the price of 1) for lively après ski.

Two lively bars are Heaven Disco Pub and the Miramonti disco bar.

Relax at El Bait, with traditional Alpine decor or La Botte with an interesting selection of wines.
