There are 265kms of ski runs serviced by 80 ski lifts; there is a vast variety of terrain and good skiing for all abilities. Snowboarders also have a good choice with a half pipe and 3 snow parks in the Grand Massif area. Many visitors return year after year to enjoy skiing here. The ski resort of Flaine is connected by lifts to the more traditional lower altitude towns of Les Carroz, Morrillon and Samoens. Sixt is a bus ride away. Together these resorts form a huge ski circus of 78 lifts and more than a 100 pistes totalling over 255km of skiing. As the terrain is so varied there is something to suit all levels of skier.
