Chalet Le Sureau is a popular, well located chalet which offers great value for money. The main lifts are a short (two minute) walk up the hill into the village, and guests are welcome to leave equipment from our recommended hire shops overnight. The bright lounge and dining area looks out onto the slopes and peaks of Courchevel 1850, but when the snow is falling, the room becomes warm and welcoming with the log fire burning. The bedrooms are more basic than some of our newer, smarter chalets, but all still have an en-suite shower and wc and of course you still receive the same excellent Le Ski food and service. The boot room has an electric boot-warmer to dry out your boots overnight. As well as being great for groups of up to 16, Chalet Le Sureau is also popular with smaller parties who enjoy the privacy of their own shower and wc. A great value chalet, plus if you're looking to fill the chalet, there is a generous discount on offer.

Your day starts with freshly brewed tea or coffee and a spread of fresh crusty baguette and jams, yoghurt, fruit and cereals on the table. The cooked breakfast menu changes every day but includes bacon, sausages, eggs, French toast, grilled tomato, succulent mushrooms, Heinz baked beans…
Once you’ve returned from your tough day on the slopes you’ll probably fancy another cuppa and a little nibble of something to keep you going until dinnertime. Afternoon tea is homemade every day and favourites range from classic treats such as scones with cream and jam to squidgy brownies or raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes.
In the evening our experienced hosts use their imaginations and the fantastic fresh produce we have to create a mouthwatering 3-course menu for the week. Unlimited red, rosé and white wines (from bottles, not boxes!) are served through dinner, with coffee and chocolates in the comfy seats after your meal. If you’re a bit of a wine buff, have a look at the upgrade wine menu from which you can order something a bit more special.
Children are equally well looked after. If you wish your youngsters to have an earlier tea – all homemade, fresh and nutritious, of course – then please let us know in advance so we can pass the message on to your host. If there’s anything you’d rather not eat, whether for moral, sensory or digestive reasons, please don’t hesitate to let us know before you travel.
