"We booked for the first week of the season in 2013. Being the start of the season, there wasn't much snow but the canons helped on the main runs. This resort is renowned for being the sunniest in France so it takes a bit longer for the snow to settle in. A lot of the runs were shut so the main ones became busy quite quickly. We were fortunate to have a huge snow dump mid-week and thoroughly enjoyed the terrain. The chalet was clean and tidy. The rooms are a bit on the small side but you're not in there much anyway so it doesn't matter. Good power shower. Staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much bother, always willing to have a chat. The walk in to town is only 10 minutes or so. Buses are every half an hour but the 'yoghurt' or 'lobster' pots take you straight to the slopes. The food was amazing. There is such a full spread at breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, you want to try a bit of everything. If anything, there was a bit too much food. The chalet hotel style is to try and sit you with other guests throughout the stay, unless requested otherwise. This was a great way to get to know others. All in all, we had a great time. We would return but probably go later in the season when there is likely to be more runs open. SkiTracer were great in organising everything, all the paperwork was clear and prompt. Looking forward to the next holiday! " -
