Engulfed by spruce and cedar, and etched into the mountain face at Lost Lake and Spruce Grove parks, Scandinave Spa Whistler takes a uniquely integrated approach in providing its guests with a spa experience of relaxation in the heart of nature. For Scandinave Spa Whistler, preserving this panorama of mountain vistas and valleys is paramount. In terms of treatments;hydrotherapy cleanses the body and skin while improving blood circulation and physical conditioning. Occurring in three stages, just a few hours are required to fully enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy. In sequence, the body is first heated in the Eucalyptus steam bath, hot baths or wood burning Finnish sauna. Then, the body is cooled quickly in the Nordic waterfalls, cold plunges or shower. Finally, relaxation takes place in the serenity of solariums, hammocks, and terraces or by the outdoor fireplaces. And for the ultimate relaxation, combine a Swedish, Deep tissue, sports, hot stone or Thai Yoga massage with the baths.
Just 1.5 km (1 mile) away from Whistler’s humming Village, this outdoor all-season spa is an escape to relaxation. Evidenced at all levels of the 20,000 square foot (1,858 square meter) outdoor spa is a commitment to the environment. From low slope vegetated green roofs, to outfitting staff with uniforms made of sustainable fibres, and the use of stainless steel bottles in lieu of plastic, Scandinave Spa Whistler strives for a sustainable spa, so fundamental to the overall experience.
