About Accommodation
The Granvara is a superb choice for the discerning skier. A Relais du Silence hotel, its luxurious environs combine with gourmet cuisine and facilities. Official rating: 4 star superior. Meals: Hot buffer breakfast and 5 course dinner with choice, including antipasto / salad buffets and a tempting spread of desserts. Facilities: Alpine style lobby bar and dining room; lounge with sofa and log fireplace; wellness centre with indoor pool connecting to a new outdoor section, fitness area, sauna, whirlpool and turkish bath (free); solarium, beauty centre & massages (pay locally); lifts. NB: Non smoking hotel.
From its panoramic location, the Granvara is 200m from the Saslong cable car, accessible on skis in good conditions. A courtesy bus to the centre of Selva, 1.5km away, operates 4 times daily and the ski bus passes regularly.
Superior Austrian style twins have bath, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe and balcony. Refurbished junior suites have lounge area, some of which have also an additional shower.
