Ski Holidays in Breckenridge
Breckenridge is often the go-to resort for a first ski trip to North America.
For good reason it has become a firm favourite with British skiers, many who tried it once and keep coming back. The town itself made its name in silver and gold mining in the 1800’s before pioneering skiers saw its true calling. Now, Breck’ is one of the most versatile resorts in the USA, with opportunities for beginners to expert skiers both young and old to explore, enjoy and challenge the variety of skiing on offer.
Whilst the ski area is spread across peaks 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 (five of the ten mountains in Colorado’s Ten Mile Range) the town itself is compact, spread around the historic Main Street with its wild-west style and heady blend of bars and restaurants. The town even has its own micro-brewery! You can choose from ski-in/ski-out or in-town lodgings to suit most budgets and party sizes as well anything from full service hotels to self-catered condos.
