No Snowtrain for the 2009/10 season
Category: General news | Published: 1st July 2009

Due to the current economic climate there will be no Snowtrain service running in the coming season.

An increase in operating costs and poor exchange rate has meant that it is not economically viable to run the snowtrain for the 2009/2010 season. There are however alternative train routes available from the UK. Snow lovers can still use the overnight and same day direct service which in still running into three stations in the French Alps or the Eurostar into Paris can be used in order to reach local train connections.
