The Fassa Valley lies in the heart of the beautiful Dolomite mountain scenery in north-east Italy. Val di Fassa is a paradise for skiing, with more than 200km of ski runways and several links to neighbouring ski areas. The villages of Canazei and Campitello can be found just 2 kilometres apart and both offer access to the famous Sella Ronda circuit linking other resorts such as Selva. The atmosphere of this resort is jolly and cheerful and this carries through to the evening ensuring fun apre ski. With great ski schools and activities, Val di Fassa is a great resort for families.

About the Skiing and Boarding in
Val di Fassa

With the extensive skiing that Va di Fassa and the surrounding resorts offer, there is something for everyone. According to your inclination and ski, you can ski in a different area every day. Campitello and Col Rodella provide some gentle blue runs for beginners. Intermediates can cruise from Canazei and Campitello, where there is direct access to the famous Sella Ronda. Arabba is easily reached from either resort and offers extremely challenging skiing on north facing black runs for advanced skiiers.

In Val di Fassa and the surrounding villages, there is plenty to do and see. Though this is a family resort, early nightlife is buzzing and the atmosphere is great. There are some good bars like Montanara Bar, Giardino delle Rose and Lieber Augustin. Eating out in restaurants in Val di Fassa is surprisingly affordable and very enjoyable. Activies include a Swimming pool in Canazei, ice-skating, a wellness centre and bowling all in Alba, Cross-country skiing and night skiing in Pozza di Fassa. Paragliding is also an option.
