For this reason Swiss ski resorts are among the most picturesque in the world, dotted with wooden chalet buildings and full of rustic charm.
Many regard Swiss ski resorts as highly expensive. Whilst this is in part true, often things are no more expensive than in top French ski resorts, and whilst the prices may be higher, the real difference is in the quality. From food in mountain restaurants to service in hotels, what you get for your money in Switzerland is generally top class.
