Ski Holidays in Switzerland
Switzerland offers traffic-free resorts with some of the biggest, toughest and highest runs in the Alps, with a bountiful selection to entertain intermediates too. The standard of mountain restaurants is unrivalled in terms of quality and flavours too - a real highlight of the holiday.
Swiss villages are rich in both charm and spectacular scenery, with accommodation standards having increased in recent years. Many chalets in the region reflect the chocolate box ideal conjured by Hollywood movies, and there are many types of accommodation available to suit all budgets.
There is however no denying that Switzerland is expensive. It's been said that food and drink costs more in the cheapest Swiss resort than in the most expensive French resort of Courchevel, so it's definitely not for the budget traveller. At least until the exchange rate improves.
