The Skiing and Boarding in Serre Chevalier

The ski resort of Serre Chevalier offers over 250kms of piste, and a fantastic lift system covering 4 areas. Serre Chevalier is one of the best ski regions in France and the snow record is excellent.  The ski resort of Serre Chevalier offers something for everyone with a good mix of tree lined runs and open bowls. The enclosed runs are great for snowy days, and given the spread out nature of the resort, there is a real feeling of getting somewhere. Beginners will find nursery slopes at each village, Le Monetier being the most popular given its quietier position on the edge of the ski area, and having good easy slopes nearby. Intermediates will flourish given the extent of blues and easy reds all over the area.
If advanced skiers are looking for extreme steepness, there is some great off piste and tree skiing to be found.
