Risoul Ski Resort, France

Risoul is a small resort in the south of France, known for its late season snow and great affordability. This purpose built, compact resort attracts young ski groups and families alike because of its diversity. It is great for snowboarders with its snowpark, home to a 150m long half pipe and boardercross. The skiing is ideal for beginners and intermediates, who will love the uncrowded tree-lined runs. The village is busy and small, and very French. Nightlife gets pretty loud in a few of the favourite bars, everywhere else it is relaxed and low key.

Risoul Accommodation

Risoul mostly consists of wooden clad apartment buildings, plenty slope side with ski-in/out access. Families are advised to stay in quieter areas further from the main village centre, as it gets loud at night.

About the Skiing and Boarding

Risoul is a big playground for beginner and intermediate skiiers and boarders, with plenty of great blue and red runs. Snowboarders will love the unbelievably good snowpark, and Risoul's reasonably snow-sure status. For the more extreme skiiers and boarders, Vars is over the hill and it has plenty of challenging and steep terrain.
