About the Skiing and Boarding
Rauris is an ideal beginners resort, for both skiiers and boarders. The nursery runs at the bottom of the gondola are great for confidence building, then beginners can safely explore the Hochalm area. There are plenty of long wide blue & red runs for the intermediates to cruise on. For a little more of a challenge intermediates can also advance to the Kreuzboden and Waldalm areas. For advanced there is one long run from Heimalm all the way to the bottom of the gondola, and some great off-piste. Snowboarders will enjoy the natural fun park and boardercross.

For a taste of Austrian apres ski, check out Rauris. The bars don't have restrictions on what time they close, so the fun can last for as long as the crowd want it to! Heimalm outdoor bar is a great place to start at the end of play. Things are a little lively at Bellino later on and other surrounding bars. There is also a wellness centre to enjoy.
