Pamporovo lies amidst vast pine forests in the Rhodope mountains and with its 270 days of sunshine each year, is the sunniest ski resort in Europe. It is located at the foot of the Snejanka mountain, a rounded peak from which all scenic pistes descend. This upgraded ski area, reached by a free ski bus from the centre of resort, is ideal for beginners and intermediates, though the resort’s Giant Slalom and steep mogulled “wall” will certainly test the most able skiers.Particularly good for first timers, it is well known for its ski school, whose instructors are patient, enthusiastic and speak good English.An efficient lift system and a free shuttle bus service manage to link the hotels and ski lifts together. In addition to the abundance of sunshine in resort, their snow record is good, providing the perfect combination of ski and sun.

Pamporvo is a great beginner resort, which is also perfect for first time skier/boarders. This resort has an abundance of easy slopes, allowing first timers and beginners plenty of opportunities to improve their skills. With the majority of runs being blue, Pamporvo resort is not suitable for more intermediate or advanced skiers.
