About the Skiing and Boarding in Morzine

Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil - a ski circuit that can be travelled in either direction with a short bus ride in Chatel. Morzine is slightly off to one side, but has excellent local slopes shared with Les Gets. The village nursery slopes are convenient for beginners, with plenty of progression runs over towards Avoriaz, Nyon and the trip via Pleny to Les Gets. Intermediates have plenty of choice with a number of great pistes on the Pleney side and over towards Les Gets. For the advanced skiier there are many good off piste runs to be found over the whole area and the black runs from Pointe de Nyon and Chamossiere are also ones to try. Boarders will find a large park in Avoiraz with competitions every week, however those still learning might find the smaller park in Mont Chery slightly more appealing.
