Maria Alm is a beautiful ski resort with a relaxed atmosphere, and vast skiing terrain. This is a great resort for the family. Set in the extensive Hochkoning ski region of Salzburgerland, this resort offers a fantastic ski area stretching across several valleys from Muhlbach in west to Saalfelden in the east. There are a great selection of bars an restaurants both in resort and on the mountain.

About the Skiing and Boarding in Maria Alm
For beginners, the gondola takes you to the middle station of the Aberg which is an ideal place to start. Intermediates have plenty of choice red runs, and can start at the 2000m Aberg and cruise down the long run down to Hintermoos. Advanced skiiers have a great selection of challenging tree lined black runs to take on. Snowboarders have plenty of on and off-piste snow to keep them busy in this resort, and 5 terrain parks for freeride snowboarders.

There are great activities in this resort for adults and children alike. Including tabogganing, ice-skating, bowling alley and shopping. There is a good selection of restaurants, and a few bars. There is also the option of excursions to the beautiful historical cities Salzburg and Innsbruck which are close by.
