Part of the world renowned 3 Valleys, the ski resort of La Tania is a small, family friendly ski resort with a compact purpose built centre. Having been built relatively recently for the 1996 Albertville Olympics, the buildings are mainly wooden clad and with quick and easy access to the skiing of both Courchevel and Meribel. La Tania is a popular ski resort. Many of the ski chalets are situated in a ski in ski out location above the resort in the trees, and the selection of bars, restaurants and shops is small, but practical.

The Skiing and Boarding in La Tania
Beyond the good local pistes of La Tania, the slopes give way to the whole of the 3 Valleys. Here you have terrain to suit every level - a ski area that is unrivalled in its size and quality. Taking the gondola from the ski resort followed by a quad chairlift brings you out to the Col de la Loze which is an ideal starting point for both Meribel or Courchevel. There are several board parks within the 3 Valleys, all with easy access from La Tania.
Après Ski in La Tania
A range of cafés and restaurants provide the apres ski in La Tania, with the main attraction being the 'Ski Lodge,' which has live music and a wide range of drinks to offer. The 'Arbatte' is a great spot to relax in after a long day on the slopes, while the 'Hotel Montana bar' and 'Hotel telemark' are quiet local bars with the latter offering smart cocktails and live music. The new 'Chrome Bar' is developing a great reputation and proving popular. Apart from Paragliding, other après ski activities are scarce in La Tania itself, but you can always travel the short distance to Meribel or Courchevel to take part in a huge range of activities, including Snow Mobile trips, Husky Sledding, Sky Diving, Helicopter Trips, Ice Diving, Karting and Climbing.
