La Plagne Ski Resort, France
Slopes for all and unspoilt off piste
The ski resort of La Plagne is split into ten stations, which gives the opportunity to ski a number of quaint, French villages in a huge ski area. Linked with Les Arcs, forming the extensive ‘Paradiski’ area, La Plagne offers 425kms of piste. Our ski chalets are all based in the four main ski areas of Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800 and Plagne Village. Whilst the main commercial centre is in Plagne Centre, there are supermarkets and ski hire shops in the other villages. All ski areas are linked to a free bus service.

Après Ski in La Plagne
La Plagne offers something for everybody. Families, groups and people of all ages will find something to do after skiing. In Plagne Centre alone there are dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and a cinema, all connected by underground passages. The bars are great for a younger crowd, the 'no Bl'm Café' being the liveliest with a massive TV screen showing sports and films and has occasional live music. In Belle Plagne, 'Tete Inn', 'Cheyenne' and 'Saloon' are popular haunts. The 'Saloon' often features DJs until late and gets pretty crowded. Plagne 1800 is fairly quiet, though 'Mama Mia's' is said to be fun and eccentric. There is an abundance of restaurants in La Plagne offering something to cover every taste & budget from casual pizzerias to the traditional raclette & fondue. 'Le Petit Chaperone Rouge' is a restaurant in 1800 with good food and an interesting loud decor of neon lights and huge screens, plus you could combine a meal here with a sleigh ride for a romantic evening.
In Plagne Bellecôte there is an outdoor heated swimming pool and two natural ice skating rinks on ponds, which you can also book to play ice hockey on. The Olympic Bobsleigh run can be taken on in a variety of downhill options depending on your fear factor! A popular apres ski activity is Snowmobiling through the trees.
