La Norma Ski Resort, France
La Norma is a low-rise resort ideal for beginners and families, with excellent value for money. There is plenty to do off-piste, including loads of fantastic activities tailored toward children. This small resort is located in the Maurienne Valley, close to Val Thorens and the Three Vallees. Lift passes also allow free access to Ausiois and Valfrejus, and all resorts are linked by shuttles. The skiing is suited mostly to beginners and intermediates, but plenty of advanced skiing is right around the corner in the Three Vallees. Snowboarders like La Norma for its boardercross and snow park. There is a floodlit sled run, and free night-skiing, both unusual and special for French ski resorts. La Norma have plenty happening year round in resort, including Father Christmas coming to town in December, and New Year fireworks. Great fun to be had in this fun and friendly resort!

Kids will love learning at this resort with its relaxed atmosphere, and unintimidating pistes. For speedsters there is a slalom stadium to race your friends down. The La Norma lift pass allows access to 2 other resorts for free, and the Three Vallees at a discounted cost. There is loads to be discovered in La Norma and the Maurienne Valley, so get exploring!
