The ski resort of Klosters is the archetypal Swiss ski resort. Located in the beautiful Prattigau Valley, beneath Mount Parsenn, Klosters is known as one of the homes of Alpine skiing. The ski resort of Klosters oozes history and traditional charm and shares its ski area with the ski resort of Davos. It is easy to travel between the two by public transport. Trains between Klosters and Davos are included in the regional lift pass.

About the Skiing and Boarding in Klosters
The ski resort of Klosters has over 300km of piste available on one lift pass. The range of skiing is fantastic, with over 30 percent of pistes categorised as black and a worldwide reputation for off piste. The top lift is located at 2844m with the ski resort of Klosters down at 1200m giving a great vertical drop run. There are plenty of long and varied trails, the longest of which is over 12km long. Beginners have three areas close to the village of Klosters in which to learn and develop their technique. Intermediate skiers have plenty to choose from too. Cross country skiers have 35km of well prepared trails in the valley offering classic or skating style options and different levels of difficulty between Klosters and the neighbouring village of Serneus. Routes include the Vereina valley and the Novai Alp. A 3km illuminated trail is available for evening treks.
Snowboarders in the ski resort of Klosters have the Sunrise Snowpark located at 2599 meters above sea level. It has various rails and rolls, two kicks and a quarter pipe. In the centre of the park is the 11m long, 5.5m tall Nidecker Monsterpipe. Other smaller snowparks can be found at Parsenn and Madrisa. There is floodlit skiing and boarding on Tuesdays and Friday evenings.
