High in the Paznaun valley, Ischgl has developed from a farming village into a bustling resort with a buzzing night life. The village retains its traditional charm but around each corner you'll find boutique shops, top-class restaurants and glitzy bars and clubs. The Silvretta area lift pass gives access to Ischgl and Galtür (free ski bus - 10 minutes between Ischgl & Galtür) - 330kms of pistes, amazing off-piste and some of the best snowboarding in the Alps. Easy nursery slopes are at the top of the mountain reached by the lift and the vast ‘Silvretta Ski Arena’ boasts 230kms of slopes with many long and open runs. Enjoy the long valley ‘Alp Trida’ run to the duty free enclave of Samnaun or the great choice of black runs and ski routes. The area also enjoys excellent snow records until late into the season and you can 'Ski 2 Countries' with some great runs down into Samnaun in Switzerland!

About the Skiing and Boarding in Ischgl & Galtur

With stunning views and an efficient high altitude lift system, Ischgl offers some of the best skiing in Austria, perfect for any level. It provides a range of nursery slopes making it ideal for first time skiers or boarders, with long and wide blue runs and a good amount of red runs (including a 12 km run down into Switzerland). For intermediate and advanced skiers/boarders, there is a great range of black runs, excellent off piste opportunities as well as a snow park.
