Formigal ski resort is a modern ski station laid out over four interlinked valleys, and is an ideal ski resort for mixed ability parties. There has been huge investment into Formigal over the past four years, making it more accommodating for all ski levels. The child care is high-quality, and the night life very lively. The ski area is never far away with only a 5 minute bus ride from the village. Formigal has been rated a great ‘all-round’ resort, and we are sure it will be a hit this season.

The Skiing and Boarding in Formigal
If you are learning to ski or snowboard, or are at an intermediate level, Formigal is the perfect ski resort for you. There are two separate learning zones for beginners to get off to a gentle start. Beginners will also find a ski school with over 50 instructors, so this is a safe, friendly place to fall over and get back up again! Intermediate skiers and riders are free to enjoy the 137km of runs, well groomed and maintained. About a third of the runs in Formigal are red runs which means that there will always be enough to keep you occupied and progress your skills. Try your downhill skill on the 3.3km red rated Descenso competition slope. There's also a half-pipe for snowboarders and the chance to try snowcatting or heli-skiing.
