Andorra Ski Holidays

Skiing in Andorra really does offer something for everyone. Varied, high altitude skiing, excellent ski schools and a choice of three very different ski resorts. There has been a lot of investment put into developing powerful lift systems and piste grooming fleets. This makes the ski areas attractive to beginners and intermediates with some great skiing for advanced skiers. Andorra has a reliable snow record and its location close to both the Mediterranean and the Atlantic oceans and the high altitude of its resorts means that it gets substantial snowfalls.

Soldeu

Skiing in Soldeu offers an impressive 200kms of pistes and benefits from excellent beginner and intermediate terrain. Soldeu has become the home of snowboarding in the Pyrenees. There is also a lively après ski scene, which is mainly English speaking. Aspen and Piccadilly are popular bars in the centre of the town. Fat Alberts amd Avalanche are open until the early.

Pas de la Casa

The first ski area in Andorra was Pas de la Casa. The first lift was opened in 1957. The ski resort opened in 1973 and is the liveliest in Andorra with a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Well know for its livley and young atmosphere 'Pas' as its better Know attracts people year after year. Pas is on the French side of Andorra and is known for its high altitude skiing and not its looks!!

Arinsal

Arinsal is the Ideal resort for Families and  attracts more first time skiers and boarders.There has been a lot of investment put into developing powerful lift systems and piste grooming fleets. This makes the ski areas attractive to beginners and intermediates. The Village of Arinsal sits on a slight hill and has plenty of resturants bars for every age group. From the world famous 70's nights to bum boarding up the mountain under the stars Arinsal will have something for you.
